Scout Camp

Connor went to scout camp this year for the first time.  We missed him but he had a great time.  He turned out to be popular with the mosquitoes.  I love that he has a great group of kids to grow up with and be friends with.

Memorial Day

Every Memorial Day the Baldauf family gets together at Mark and Sharon Maderio's home. The kids love to go because they open their pool and hot tub.  The kids volley between the pool and the hot tub and love the toys they have.  They also have a pond with a paddle-boat that the kids enjoy.  Here are some of the highlights.

Lily's 10th Birthday

Lily's 10th birthday was full of fun for her.  She got a doll and a new dress and her Harry Potter Cake.

Roofers

We put a new roof on our house this summer.  It was amazing to watch the guys work.  They did the whole thing in one long day.

Eight Lake

After school was out we went to Eighth Lake.  It is located in the Adirondacks and has become a family favorite.  We camp between two lakes 7th and 8th and are able to walk between the two and play in both.  We normally rent a canoe and paddle around as much as we can.  This year the weather didn't cooperate.  It was overcast and rained almost every day.  We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and stayed thru Thursday as to avoid the weekend crazies.  The kids take their bikes and have lots of freedom to ride around and play.  Fires are a favorite.  Connor and Andy both lit the fire every evening and morning for breakfast.  The kids always complete the junior ranger badge and collect their emblem.  The ranger is supper nice.  He always has a bag of stuffed animals that he shares with campers.  We love going to this campground. Hopefully next year the weather cooperates.

Awards

At 5th grade graduation Connor and Andrew were both awarded the special awards.  They were so pleased and as were their parents.

5th Grade Graduation

For 5th Grade Lily was selected to pass out programs as she was dressed up and looked lovely.  Her smile was priceless.

The boys played their instruments as the class marched into the cafeteria.

Movie night in the garage

During Kenneth and Heidi's visit to the farm we decided to do a movie night in the garage.  It was complete with popcorn and drinks.  It was a lot of fun and because we did it in the garage no mosquitoes.
