Grandma and Grandpa Ward

We had a terrific visit with Grandma and Grandpa Ward.  We kept them busy playing games and seeing the sights.  We got to do a session in the Philadelphia temple and stopped at the Priesthood restoration sight in Susquehanna.  We were all sad to see them leave.

The kids are still young enough to love trick or treating, and while it's out of order I wanted to include these pictures as I chronicle our adventures.

that's right a Caution sign.  So..appropriate............

Elders

One of our favorite Elders - Elder Long was transfered recently. We miss him.  He was so kind to our kiddos.  It is fun to have people in our lives that we love.  We wish him well in the north country!

Window trim, basement and Lights

The window trim is up in our addition.  It looks so nice and finally it is starting to look complete.  We have baseboard to go and of course touch up paint but for now the main family room is done.  Once the basement bedroom is finished Joseph will start on the built-in-book-cases in the family room.  For now the Ikea one's work.  We put plinth board at the base of the sliding window are door casings and I love the look.

The basement addition is progressing.
Connor has moved in even though there is not sheet-rock on the studs.

We are currently framing a closet in this space.  Once the Electrician installs the outlets we will start installing the sheet- rock.  Connor will be happy to have a door.

And lastly, Joseph installed some shop lights in the fruit room.  Who would have know that a few more lights would have made that much of a difference.  I love the light!

Gingerbread Houses

This years Gingerbread houses were even better than those of the past.  The kids are really getting detailed in their construction!

Sledding

We haven't had much snow but one weekend we took advantage of the snow we had and went to Strawberry Hill.  Here are some of the pictures I was able to capture.
