I have to post this because I think it's adorable. Kenneth and Heidi and family visited over Memorial Day and Joseph read Skippy John Jones to the group of 10 kids. We love having them in our home and at the farm. It is remarkable how well the kids play together and how much Joy family brings!

Hero
We got Hero for Spring break and then Ginger for the week after. The kids loved them both --Daddy--not so much.
Pageant of Bands
Sherburne NY is home to the pageant of Bands every 1st Saturday in June. It was a lovely way to spend the part of a weekend. There were probably 40+ marching bands that attended and we benefited by getting to watch a lovely parade. One band even traveled from South Dakota. Lily (and some cousins) were in the parade as clowns and we adopted Grace for the day to watch with us.
Fillmore Glenn State Park
We went camping at Fillmore Glenn State Park and had such a lovely time. The weather was nice and the park was beautiful. We went on a short hike and crossed the stream 9 times on some lovely bridges built as part of the CCC. The kids loved the waterfall and it was so nice spending the day in enjoying the beauties of upstate NY.
Braces
Andy got his braces. He has been very vigilant at taking care of them and hasn't complained at all. There has been noticeable improvement in his overbite already.
Construction
Our construction project is in full swing. We demo'ed the sun porch ourselves in early spring and have loved watching the progress as we have construction rigs in the back yard. Here are some of our favorite photos and ways of remembering the action.
As the boys were doing demo Lily was creating a fort with the scrap materials under the swing set.
It's a monster dirt pile in the back yard and the kids love it. What a sandbox!
